Tiffany Sets Jewelry syndrome Hi has anyone used

Down Tiffany Sets Jewelry syndrome Hi, has anyone used kids fly safe for air travel with their little ones.I am researching it since i will be traveling to las vegas this summer and i have a car seat in our car in las vegas and one in ny so no need to bring one if this system is good.If you dont think its great or have other suggestions i am open to them.Last time we traveled samantha still fit into her little car seat you can carry the baby in. Right now samantha is 24 pounds and 33 inches so i figure she will be alittle bigger also and she will be over 2 years old.She has always been"Infant in arms", I have been lucky to have open seats on most occasions so that I can use her car seat, but not all attendents go out of there way to help you.Since we had to switch to a convertable car seat, traveling has become so much more cumbersome so i started looking into other safe options. For our most recent trip i did some research and found the cares system that you are talking about-It's the only faa regulated system that airlines will let you use. Olivia is at the smallest size that you can use with this, but i know she will grow into it soon and it will function better-The minimum weight is 22 pounds(I can't remember the length). It is very easy to use-You strap the red strap to the back of the seat(Behind the tray table)Just above the child's head(Tight), then adjust the straps to fit the child. The bottom loops slide onto the existing lap belt for adults. The rest works like a regular 4 point harness. I thought that it was really great-The only issue i had with it is that olivia can make herself slide down through the lap belt, then her head get close to the upper chest belt. This is because there isn't the 5th point of the harness-There isn't a way to secure between the legs which is why you can only it for older children.Think that once she is a little bigger, this will correct itself. It's a much safer option than in the lap, because if you think about the momentum force that would happen in turbulance, you won't be able to hold a child and this will keep them in the seat and it's much more convenient than a car seat.Of course you have to think about what you will do for a car seat at the other end.I bought a car seat cover and then rented the car seat with my car-And it worked really great! You can also buy carriers for your car seat and check it so that you aren't carrying it throughout the airport. I don't know what the options are for infants that are younger, i had my sell at a discount car seat crossed fingers for an open seat. The airlines are supposed to allow car seats if there is a space next to you open and you aren't blocking another passenger from the walkway. I will be using this belt again in mid february, so i will let you know if it gets better for her as she grows. (Mommy to olivia, t21) I think that the advantage is safety in turbulance, space for the adults and the children.Once they bigger, but are still small enough to be"Infant in arms" -It can get really crowded in one seat, but you are taking a chance that you will have a seat if you don't buy.I have found with all the flight cutbacks that the planes are much more crowded and the attendents are less willing to go out of their way to help accomodate you. I would approach it similar to having jacob facing forward in a car seat. For this system to for him, he needs to be able to sit upright and support himself-Those seats are very vertical-If he has very low tone, he might still be too young for this. It's meant for older children to secure them better than just the lap belt.Olivia is 18 months and just now at the right weight for it, she has low tone but has gotten enough strength to sit upright for longer periods of time.I heard that there is another belt system that actually attaches to the parent(Specifically meant for"Infant in arms") -More like a baby born type system, but i couldn't find it on the internet. That is what i was actually looking for when i found this one-Olivia just happens to be just barely at the weight minimum for it to work.Jacob is still really young, so i would probably either take the chance at an open seat bring the car seat or just buy a ticket for his car seat-Those are really long flight. The 5 hours across country is about the edge tiffany:http://www.getoutofthemud.com/ of what olivia can take restrained or in someones arms.I will see if i can find that other belt that my sister inlaw mentioned to me-I have a feeling that she was talking about this one and just didn't know it was for older children. All of her lo's are older now.I found a good price on ebay and it got good reviews on amazon. My girlfriend uses one for her kids when she travels and she loves it!I just was happy to combine a stroller and car seat.If you have any concerns about your own health or the health of your child, you should always consult with a physician or other healthcare professional. Please review the privacy policy and terms of use before using this site.Your use of the site indicates your agreement to be bound by the terms of use.
